서울에서 태어나 유년기부터 일찍이 미술을 익히고 청소년기에 다양한 예술 분야에 깊은 애정을 키웠다.청년 시절에는 건축을 폭넓게 공부하여 다양한 대 규모 프로젝트에 참가하고 설계와 시공을 업으로 삼았었다.서른 중반에 독일로 건너가 유럽의 여러 나라에서 다양한 작업을 시도하며 예술적 역량을 확장하였고 한동안 광학사업을 위해 일을 했었지만 현재는 개인 작업에 집중하고 있다. 지난 10여 년간 대한민국의 해안가, 국립공원, 지질공원 등의 전역을 다니며 적외선사진과 초대형 파노라마 사진 작업을 통해 깊이 있는 탐구를 이어 왔으며, 유럽의 여러 광학 브랜드에서 엠버서더, 마스터로 활동함며 전문적인 건축사진 작업에 몰두 하였다. 김수근 문화재단과 함께 건축가 김수근의 작품들을 아카이빙하고 있으며 국내 예술가들과도 협업을 진행중이다.

Born in Seoul, He began studying fine art from an early age during his childhood and cultivated a deep passion for various artistic disciplines throughout his youth. As a young man, he studied architecture extensively, participating in diverse large-scale projects and subsequently pursued a career in design and construction. In his mid-thirties, he relocated to Germany, experimenting with various creative endeavours across several European nations to broaden his artistic capabilities. Although he worked in the optics industry for a time, he is currently focused on his personal projects. Over the last decade or so, he has travelled throughout South Korea, visiting its coastlines, national parks, and geoparks, undertaking in-depth explorations through his photographic work(Infrared Photography, GigaPixelPanoramaimage).

He has also been active as an ambassador and master for several European optics brands, dedicating himself to professional architectural photography. He collaborates with the Kim Swoo Geun Foundation to archive the works of architect Kim Swoo Geun and is actively engaged in partnerships with domestic artists.
